Sophie RICHARD
Sophie is a French artist living in Paris. Inspired by spirituality, nature, her encounters and the places she visits, she works around geometric shapes and vibrant colours. She likes to translate her memories, emotions and feelings through abstract images to simple compositions. She explores notions of balance, patience, mystery and evolution.
She is also a designer, an activity she freelances in the global design studio douxdesign, co-founded in September 2020 with her partner Hana Zarrouk. Her design practice has an important impact on her artistic projects and she enjoys making connections between the two disciplines.
