Alice Del Ferraro

Alice Del Ferraro is the founder and creative mind of an emerging brand of Artisan Ceramics, based in Velletri, in the province of Rome. 2018 is a crucial year for her, marking the beginning of her deep bond with ceramics. She began her training journey with a course that aims to provide the tools and elements necessary to acquire a professional technique for the artisanal creation of ceramic artifacts, through drawing, modeling, shaping and decoration. At the end of the course, she decided to continue her journey of knowledge, understanding that ceramics is her language. Since the beginning of her artistic journey, she has found in the manipulation of clay a way to express her creativity and her vision of the world. Her work stands out for the harmonious fusion between sculptural aesthetics and practical functionality.

Using mainly clay in stoneware and traditional hand-building methods, each piece that comes to life in her workshop carries the story of its creation, from the traces of her hands imprinted in the clay to the most intricate details that underline the importance of craftsmanship and artisanal care. What makes Alice's ceramics unique is their contemporary nature, a bold mix of traditional and innovative elements. She constantly explores new ways of expressing herself through the use of color, three-dimensional patterns and conceptual forms, offering proposals that go beyond the conventions of traditional ceramics. Every day in her workshop is an opportunity to explore, experiment and create, carrying on an ancient tradition with an eye to the future.
