“Love Letters”

This absolute nudity, permitted by religious trust and affection, is investigated in the work done in Venice.

Venice is a choice originating from “fatality”, a key word in every discussion about the island. The emergence and re-emergence of the sandbanks, the water that covers and uncovers the masegni, the sensation of sinking and returning to the surface, the green of the lagoon next to the Venetian red, have strongly influenced the artist's practice, who tells the story of the city without drawing it."
