Beya REBAI
Born in 1995, Beya Rebai specialised in illustration at the Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels, where she studied for three years, and in Paris for a master's degree in illustration. Fascinated by colour, in particular the Nabis art movement, she constructs her drawings with a limited and carefully chosen range of colours. Her sketchbook accompanies her at all times, both in her neighbourhood and thousands of kilometres away. Beya is just as passionate about traditional techniques such as pastels and coloured pencils as she is about digital illustration, which offers unlimited colour choices. Her inspiration comes mainly from the regions she travels through, but also from the people she meets. The attitude of a person in a café, the colours of a bouquet of flowers, the relief and grace of a mountain, everything is an excuse to draw. Beya has worked for The Guardian, The New York Times, Nike, Libération, Aéroport de Paris among others.
