Ceci n'est pas un poster : why ?

« For this open call, I wanted to combine my current interest in vegetarian cuisine with drawings. Luckily for me, Veneto offers a great variety of vegetables: white garlic from Polesano, red beetroot from Chioggia, celery root from Ronco all'Adige, and many others. It was very interesting for me to learn more about their main characteristics, their origin and above all their use in the kitchen! I chose to challenge my drawing technique, with the use of a color palette, larger shapes and a more graphic style, mostly inspired by the covers of cookbooks and children's books of the time. I wish the little garden was only the first of a series of illustrations!»
